HEAVENS / PARADIS D'ICI ET D'AILLEURS
Ce sont des instants de magie volés dans la vitesse de la ville des anges, au milieu de la mer d'une île sacrée, derrière une fenêtre encore fermée.
Des secondes volées sur la route. Sur Terre.
Rien ne relie ces images entre elles au premier abord, que le sentiment pas dicible d'appartenir à l'espace et au temps. Une certitude archaïque qui finit par devenir le Big Bang à l'intérieur de moi.
Dans Le Pavillon d'or, Mishima fait de l'expérience de la beauté une métamorphose intime. C'est cette beauté que j'ai eu envie de célébrer, à travers une dizaine de clichés issus de différents voyages, qui incarnent chacun à leur manière la transformation de soi à travers le sublime.
Chaque photographie est issue d'un carnet de voyage, dont les différentes séries sont à découvrir sur la page Away.
Certains de ces clichés ont été exposés en 2014 et en 2015 à Paris, et en 2016 à Barcelone.
Une sélection a également été publiée dans Docu Magazine en mai 2025 et dans Visual Poetry Journal en juin.
HEAVENS / BEAUTY OR THE POWER OF METAMORPHOSIS
Heavens is a series made of moments of magic. Made of street spirits. And natural minds. On the road. On earth.
Each photograph comes from a travel book that you can find on the page Away.
Heavens is a tribute to Mishima's novel, "The Temple of the Golden Pavilion", in which he explores the metamorphosis of a human being through the intimate experience of the sublime.
I spent several years between political science and journalism, and poetry appears to me as another way to be committed in the world : showing beauty can indeed be an act of resistance.
My series gathers moments that simply transformed myself through the very experience of beauty in nature.
Some of these photographs have been exhibited in Paris in 2014 and 2015 and in 2016 in Barcelona.
A selection has been published in Docu Magazine in may 2025 and in the Visual Poetry Journal in june.
