Guris shows the very day when Catalunya decided to vote concerning Independency. The vote wasn't constitutional, yet it took place everywhere in the region. Waking up in Barcelona to images of policemen hitting citizens in what turned out to be for a day some election spots, I decided to walk around the city to capture the atmosphere.

Guris is a dirty word sometimes used in Barcelona to name expats & tourists.

As I did photograph this even from far,I called the series this way.
